Ecology in Action in Colletta

There has been an important new initiative by the Cultural Association of Colletta di Castelbianco (Savona, Italy), with the active cooperation of the comune of Castelbianco, in donating the sum of five hundred euros for the clearing and maintenance of two paths leading from Colletta. The first has opened a way from the Rocca Pursan bridge to the ancient Bealera bridge, including attaching a rope handrail to the rockface where the path is at its narrowest, and the second has significantly improved the footpath ending at the Gin restaurant.

This interaction between a non-profit organisation and a public entity is particularly significant showing a common desire to protect the environment, and to open up the picturesque, little-known footpaths of our beautiful Liguria.
